As a multi-media and interdisciplinary artist, I work with paint, collage, found text and images, small objects and recycled materials to create abstract, expressive, and conceptual art, sculpture, and installations. I also enjoy creating expressive portraits. Original works of art on wood panel, canvas, and paper are available (discount for pickup/dropoff in Seattle), and prints can be arranged; inquire about framing and shipping options. I have been passionate about creating art art all my life, and studied fine art at Otis College of Art and Design (Los Angeles) and Interdisciplinary Arts & Writing (MFA) at California Institute of Integral Studies.
I have led art, collage, and “found poetry” workshops for teens and adults, and am available to host workshops for private groups, or art parties for all ages. As a former nanny (and mom to a wonderfully precocious toddler), I love working with kids! All supplies and instructional materials are provided. Content is flexible; contact me for ideas and inspiration or to arrange for a particular class or theme. Groups can be hosted in your home or location of choice. Fees vary depending on number of hours/guests and materials needed.
As an artist and community member, I love to volunteer, give back, and gather people in community. In 2019, I started hosting monthly Community Art Nights that are free and open to anyone. Supplies are provided. Location and times may vary; click here for more information. This is a great way to get to know your neighbors, explore new mediums, make a mess, and get crafty.
Art is for everybody.
